Hey all. Just a little update on the development here. Have hit just about all my goals of the week since my last post. Designed a whole new level and hoping this new little beastie will get some adrenaline up! Had heaps of fun creating him (or is it her? I can't tell...) and designing some platforming challenges around it.
Can't wait for you guys to play test. Also some more changes to the controls - the game is feeling more like Sonic than Mario at the moment. We'll see if we can keep that up as the jumps and dashes are feeling good (to me at least) for now. Or if slowing the pace for more thoughtful platforming is better.
Also! Looking to get some gifs and videos going soon. (As soon as I've figured out how...)
